Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

he 2015 Spring Mountain Cab is opaque dark ruby in color with rich aroma and flavor of black currant, Boysenberry and a blueberry nuance. The aroma is coupled with spices like black pepper corns, aromatic cedar, cigar box, dried tobacco, pine forest, dark olive, and brambly forest floor. The flavors are reminiscent of dark cherry, with a firm crispness for balance and length. The tannins are round and well resolved, giving a wonderfully pleasant structure. This cabernet sauvignon from Freemark Abbey is a great example of a mountain cab, with the rich extraction of abundant flavors providing a wine of great depth and pleasure.
