Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is dark, opaque, ruby in color, with a back bone of sweet blackcurrant, Bing cherry and an herbal complexity that is reminiscent of forest floor, sage brush and juniper. The oak adds a nice light spice, like clove, cedar, vanilla and toast. The depth in the nose has a complexity of dark chocolate and a hint of dried herbs. The entry is full and promising with dark fruit flavors, while the tannins are maturing nicely. With lots of depth, this wine is floral, juicy and rich; a great example of a refined mountain cabernet.
